Information we collect

Tool Deal Radar may collect information you provide directly, including your email address, saved tool watches, target prices, contact-form messages, and early-access signups. We also process technical information that is normally generated when you use a website, such as browser, device, security, and request-log information.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts, save watchlists, send requested sign-in codes and deal alerts, respond to support messages, protect the service, measure reliability, and improve Tool Deal Radar.

Service providers

We use service providers to host and operate the site and its communications. These may include Vercel for web hosting, Supabase for database and authentication services, Resend for transactional email, and affiliate networks or retailers for product and referral data. These providers process information according to their own agreements and privacy practices.

First-party site measurement

Tool Deal Radar records limited first-party usage events such as page views, deal views, searches, saved watches, and clicks that leave Tool Deal Radar for a retailer. These events are used to understand which tools and features are useful and to measure referral performance. Our application analytics table is not designed to store IP addresses, full user-agent strings, advertising identifiers, or account email addresses. These first-party usage events are automatically pruned after approximately 180 days.

Affiliate links

Some outbound retailer links may be affiliate links. When you follow an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may use cookies, referral identifiers, or similar technology to attribute a purchase or visit.

Local storage and cookies

Tool Deal Radar may use browser storage or cookies that are necessary for authentication, session continuity, saved actions, security, or site functionality. Retailers and affiliate networks may set their own cookies after you leave Tool Deal Radar.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we use access controls and managed infrastructure intended to reduce risk.

You can remove saved watches from your account and sign out at any time. You can also contact us to ask questions about information associated with your use of Tool Deal Radar.

Children

Tool Deal Radar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.
